The Senate Finance Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday (April 9) to consider the re-confirmation of Dan Hassell as the Secretary of Revenue, according to Committee Chairman Senator Scott E. Hutchinson.
Hassell has served as Revenue Secretary since June 2017. Hassell has more than three decades of experience with the Department of Revenue and as a budget specialist for the Pennsylvania Senate Appropriations Committee.
Hassell is an Erie native. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College and a Master of Science in Public Management and Policy from Carnegie-Mellon University’s Heinz School of Urban and Public Affairs.
