PENNDOT is now offering special license plates to veterans who served in an Airborne Unit or as a World War II Merchant Mariner, according to Senator Scott Hutchinson.
The Airborne Unit license plate features an image of jump and glider wings. The Merchant Marines plate features the Merchant Marine emblem.
Veterans and military personnel interested in these new plates can visit PENNDOT’s website, www.dmv.state.pa.us, through the “Military License Plates” link under the “Military Personnel/Veterans” Information Center.
