East Brady receives $221,815 state grant for Riverfront Park

The Borough of East Brady recently received a $221,815 grant from the Commonwealth Financing Authority for the development of Riverfront Park, according to Senator Scott Hutchinson. The project includes an ADA-accessible floating fishing pier, a playground, picnic area and a paved connection to the Armstrong Trail.

“This is good news for East Brady and all local residents,” Senator Hutchinson said. “Grants that Pennsylvania provides for parks and recreation areas are long-term investments in communities and in improving the quality of life for everyone.”

The CFA was established as an independent agency of the Commonwealth to administer Pennsylvania’s economic stimulus packages. The CFA holds fiduciary responsibility over the funding of programs and investments in Pennsylvania’s economic growth.
