The Warren County Commissioners were recently awarded a $5,000 state grant from the Department of Community and Economic Development to support efforts to recruit fire service providers through increased community awareness, according to Senator Scott Hutchinson.
The Municipal Assistance Program funds will be used by the Warren County Intergovernmental CO-OP for continuation of its internet and internet-based Public Information and Support program for all of the fire service providers in the county.
