Senator Hutchinson offers veterans assistance hours

Senator Scott Hutchinson, in partnership with the Erie office of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, will offer special hours each month in his Oil City and Warren offices dedicated to assisting local veterans and their families.

Veterans will be able to meet with Randy Gray from the Erie VFW Department Service Division office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the second Monday of the month at 302 Seneca Street, Oil City and on the last Wednesday of the month at 22045 Route 6, Warren.

Gray will provide expert assistance, free of charge, to veterans and their families on VA benefits and provide information, referrals and resources on education, employment and business, death benefits and other important topics.

“We owe our deep and enduring gratitude to the men and women who have served in our armed forces,” said Senator Hutchinson. “These office hours are dedicated to our local veterans as a way to ensure they receive the benefits and services they deserve.”

Veterans do not need to be a member of the VFW to receive these services. More information is available by calling Senator Hutchinson’s Oil City office at (814) 677-6345 or his Warren office at (814) 728-2100.
