The state Department of General Services recently announced the dates for its annual spring heavy equipment auction, according to Senator Scott Hutchinson.
The online auction for municipalities will open at noon on April 23 and close at 10 a.m. on May 7. The public online auction will begin at noon on May 27 and bidding will close at 10 a.m. on June 10.
Items at the State Surplus Property Program auction, to be based at 205 Witherow Street, Punxsutawney, include off-road equipment, bridge equipment and dump trucks. The inventory can be viewed online at http://padgs.assetnation.com beginning April 23.
