HB 2186 (Harper) – Summary – amends Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) to establish uniform residential qualifications of office for those who are seeking election or appointment to a municipally elected office where recent military service may interfere with that person’s ability to fulfill the proper residency requirements.
HB 297 (Evankovich) – Summary – would create the Release of Coroner and Medical Examiner Information Act establishing parameters for when a coroner may release a decedent’s name, cause and manner of death.
A10633 – amends the legislation to prevent, except in instances of a public health risk, the coroner or medical examiner from releasing the cause and manner of death to the public except in a way that does not detail the medical history of the deceased.
HB 1885 (White) – Summary – amends Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) and Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) in regard to sanctuary municipalities, providing for reporting requirements and holding sanctuary municipalities liable for damage to person or property by an unauthorized alien.
