Oil City Office to Host VFW Representative

Beginning Wednesday, June 21, a representative with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at Senator Scott Hutchinson’s Oil City District Office to assist local veterans.

“My staff and I have an immense gratitude and appreciation for our veterans and their families and I am pleased to offer this service,” Senator Hutchinson said.  “The VFW representative can assist veterans with any military or Veterans Administration concerns.”

The VFW is the nation’s largest organization of combat veterans. The group’s mission is “to foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts.  To serve our veterans, the military and our communities.  To advocate on behalf of all veterans.”

“I encourage veterans and their families to stop by my Oil City District Office at 229 Elm Street, Oil City, or call (814) 677-6345 with their questions,” Senator Hutchinson said.
