Clarview Rest Home Inc. of Sligo, Clarion County, was awarded a $1,031,239 low-interest loan from the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority (PENNVEST) today (April 18), according to Senator Scott Hutchinson (R-21) and Representative Donna Oberlander (R-63).
Clarview will use the funds to decommission its existing wastewater treatment plant and install 7,000 feet of sewer line to pump sewage to the Sligo Borough wastewater collection system.
PENNVEST financing is provided through the use of federal funding and prior bond issues by the state. It is not supported by the state’s General Fund budget, which covers the daily operations and services of the Commonwealth.
