Finance Committee to Consider a Bill, Hold Public Hearing on Wednesday

The Senate Finance Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday (September 25), in Room 8E-A in the state Capitol East Wing, Harrisburg to consider one bill and hold a public hearing on another one, according to Committee Chairman Senator Scott Hutchinson (R-21).

The Committee is set to consider House Bill 1085, a measure introduced by Representative Aaron Bernstine that would repeal the obsolete State Personal Property Tax Act.

The Finance Committee will then hold a public hearing on Senate Bill 74, a measure sponsored by Senator Scott Martin that would allow companies to apply for a tax credit after making an eligible donation to a Pennsylvania pediatric cancer research hospital.

The meeting will be streamed live on Senator Hutchinson’s Finance Committee webpage: https://finance.pasenategop.com/.
